There are three principle ways in which you can actively help work at The Cut :

  • By becoming a volunteer: working at the box office or behind the bar, stewarding events, helping with the lunchtime café, joining the Film Crew, handing out publicity material – please contact Aafke Groeneveld for further information.
  • By becoming a member of our ‘500 Friends Club’ for which you will receive our mailings and be automatically entered for the monthly draw prize, all for an annual fee of just £12 (or more if you want to have more than one chance in the monthly draw) – contact Lesley Finbow for further information.
  • By making a donation – contact Lesley Finbow for further information.

Making a gift to a charity is easy and the charity can accept donations in a variety of ways:

  • Cheque
  • Bankers Standing Order
  • Cash
  • Gift Aid
  • Shares/Property
  • Legacies
  • Company Gifts

We gratefully accept cash donations of any amount. Cheques should be made payable to New Cut Arts and sent to the treasurer at The Old Maltings. New Cut, Halesworth, Suffolk IP19 8BY. However, we are looking to raise a more permanent income and are preparing a number of fund-raising ideas to support the project. These include:

  • For a standing order of anything from £1 upwards per month, enter our monthly draw for a substantial cash prize (25% of the pot). Each £1 buys one chance so why not increase your chances by purchasing several.
  • For donations of £500 or more, become a life member and receive 40% off selected performance tickets booked in advance.
  • If you are a tax payer you can request a deed of covenant form.
